The Vision

Solve an industry challenge through the design of a tray that air prunes roots and combine it with a system that creates value by centralizing labor, increasing transplant efficiencies, and simplifying processes.

The Engineering Behind the Air Tray® Design

This breakthrough line prevents root spiraling by having no horizontal surfaces.

In addition, the Air Tray® creates an air space around the root zone to maximize the amount of contact the air can have with the roots.

Roots are then air-pruned by the air resulting in lateral root formation throughout the root zone and preventing singular tap root formation.

This improves the structural integrity and stability in root systems after transplant is dramatically improved.

 The Air Tray® Difference

Better Rooting

  • Channel air to the root zone to maximize growth

  • Air root pruning to promote secondary and tertiary root development that prevent tap root development and root girdling

Easier Handling

  • Keep the soil intact even in early development stages

  • Minimize root system fragility so you don’t have to worry about damage from the substrate falling away when plants are removed

Faster Planting

  • Plants can be transplanted earlier and faster (no pot removal)

  • The root system is held together better than traditional pots, so there is less root damage and stress at transplant, resulting faster establishment
